The world's largest cruise ship is set to embark on its maiden voyage on January 27.
Icon of the Seas, a ship 5 times larger than the Titanic, will depart on its maiden voyage from Miami, Florida, on January 27, 2024.
The Royal Caribbean ship will take thousands of passengers to the Caribbean on its maiden voyage.
According to Sascha Lang, Royal Caribbean Group's vice president of design, it's a huge ship and kids will love it.
He further informed that special attention has been paid to the design of the Icon of the Seas and each part has a different design.
The ship has several themed sections such as Thrill Island with 6 water slides while Absolute Zero is for ice stacking.
A waterfall will be visible in the section called AquaDome.
Sascha Lang said that guests on this cruise ship will be able to explore our different themed sections, such as the Royal Promenade where you can stroll through Surfside or Central Park and feel like you're walking through an urban area.
The rooms of this ship are divided into 28 categories.
Families of 3, 4, 5, 6 or more people can stay in these rooms.
Its cheapest ticket is also 1820 dollars, which will allow the passenger to stay for 7 nights in a normal room.
Compared to this, the most expensive ticket is for a 3-story cabin where multiple amenities will be available.
The ship has 20 decks and can carry 5610 passengers and 2350 crew at a time.
Note that the vessel was handed over to Royal Caribbean in Finland on November 27, 2023.
The ship was built in 900 days and on January 27, it will leave Miami for the Caribbean.
It is a 1198 feet high ship with a weight of 250 thousand 800 tons, that is why it has been declared as the largest cruise ship in the world.

It has 40 restaurants, while according to the company, it also has a huge swimming pool, while a water park will be available to passengers for the first time on a ship, with 6 water slides.
