Yemen's Houthis have targeted a British oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden with missiles.
According to the British media, the spokesman of the Houthis says that in response to the US and UK attacks on Yemen, they targeted an oil tanker of a British company passing through the Gulf of Aden.
According to the Houthi spokesman, the missile hit the target and the oil tanker caught fire.
The British Defense Minister has called the Houthis' attack on the oil tanker intolerable and illegal.
He said that it is our responsibility to protect shipping in the Red Sea and the region and we stand by our commitment as always.
According to the report, the fire was brought under control, the crew of the missile-hit ship is safe.
The affected company says their ship is heading to a 'safe' port.
On the other hand, the United States and the United Kingdom carried out airstrikes on the port of Ras Isa, the main oil export terminal of Yemen.
According to the news agency, al-Masira TV, controlled by the Houthis, says that the United States and the United Kingdom carried out an air attack on the port in Hodeidah province of Yemen.
