The Election Commission of Pakistan has postponed the election on seats PK 22 and PK 91 of National Assembly Constituency NA 8 Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Independent candidate Rehan Zeib Khan from NA 8 and PK 22 was killed today in Bajaur by unknown persons.
Police said that Rehanzeb was present at Siddiqabad Gate in connection with the election campaign where he was targeted.
After the murder of independent candidate Rehanzeb, the election on NA-8 and PK-22 has been postponed.
RO issued formal notification.
On the other hand, due to the death of an election candidate in PK 91 Kohat 2, the election in the constituency was postponed.
According to the Election Commission, the elections in PK-91 Kohat have been postponed, PK-91 candidate Ismatullah Khattak died on January 30.
Returning Officer PK 91 Irfanullah issued a public notice.
