Saudi Arabia has welcomed the restoration of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Iran and the de-escalation of tensions.

In a statement issued by the Saudi authorities, it is hoped that the parties will resolve all their differences by peaceful means, in accordance with the basic principles of international law.

In a statement released by the Islamic State, it has been said that the two countries will be able to resolve differences by keeping in mind the United Nations Charter and the principles of good neighborliness.

It should be remembered that the tense situation between Pakistan and Iran arose when Iranian forces attacked in Pangjur area of Balochistan a few days ago in which two girls were martyred and 3 were injured.

Immediately after the Iranian attack, Pakistan recalled Mudassar Tipu, the Pakistani ambassador posted in Tehran, and expelled the Iranian ambassador and canceled high-level diplomatic visits.

After waiting for almost 24 hours, Pakistan targeted the hideouts of terrorists in Saravan area of Sistan province of Iran and made it clear that it will not allow any kind of threat to national security.

After Pakistan's retaliatory attack, the foreign ministers of the two countries met and agreed to normalize relations and the federal cabinet also approved the restoration of diplomatic relations with Iran.
