Davos: Saudi Arabia has said that they can recognize Israel if the Palestinian issue is resolved.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, while talking to the panel of the World Economic Forum in Davos, said that regional peace can only be achieved through the establishment of a Palestinian state. If the Palestinians get peace, Israel can be recognized.
He said Saudi Arabia is working with the US to ensure regional peace through the establishment of a Palestinian state, and this is more relevant in the context of Gaza.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan added that our priority is to reduce the growing tension in Gaza and the Red Sea. The war in Gaza is dangerous for the entire region. There must be an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. There are no signs of Israel stopping the war in Gaza.
