Dubai Police granted the wish of an incarcerated father's daughter to allow her marriage arrangements to be made in prison.
According to the report of Arab media, a girl requested in a letter to the Dubai Police that her relationship has been settled, but the presence of the father is very important for any girl on an important day like marriage.
On the request of the girl, the Dubai Police allowed the girl to marry in the prison in front of the prisoner's father, Brigadier Marwan Julfar, director of prisons, said that the department allowed the girl to marry in the prison. Given the financial and emotional circumstances of the father, the marriage was approved'.
Nikah Khan Sheikh Ahmed Al Shahi was also invited by the Jails Department for the girl's marriage ceremony.
The Dubai Police not only fulfilled the girl's wish by organizing a marriage ceremony in the prison, but the police also furnished the girl's house and gave her a wedding gift.
The police officer said that this measure is one of the measures taken in relation to the care of the families of the prisoners.
