An American F-16 fighter jet crashed into the sea in South Korea.
The US Air Force unit in South Korea confirmed that the plane encountered an emergency situation over the sea after which it crashed.
According to the US Air Force, the pilot who ejected from the plane has been safely rescued.
It should be noted that this is the second incident of the downing of an American F-16 aircraft in South Korea in a month.
